The AI Productivity Platform Management Engineer will manage the operational readiness and governance of AI tools, ensuring effective implementation and support for various AI initiatives within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Access & Provisioning: Own the intake and triage for user access requests across approved AI tools (employees + contractors). Execute provisioning and deprovisioning via Google Groups, vendor admin consoles, and SCIM where available
- Drive Pilot Operations: Stand up "ready-to-run" pilot kits, including onboarding instructions, Slack channel setup, and support escalation paths. Maintain a central roster of active pilots and participants
- Coordinate Integrations: Work with Workplace Technology and vendors to ensure SSO/SCIM readiness and configure app integrations (e.g., connecting AI tools to Slack, Jira, Figma)
- Oversee Governance & Hygiene: Maintain a least-privilege admin model and ensure tooling processes align with policy requirements (e.g., training completion gating). Perform regular seat utilization reviews and license reclamation for capacity-constrained tools
- Lead Enablement & Support: Create and maintain "how to get access" pages, FAQs, and internal documentation. Publish periodic status updates on access volume and pilot participation
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing SaaS tool administration, including user provisioning/deprovisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and license management (experience with Google Workspace admin or similar platforms is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to create and maintain clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), onboarding guides, and documentation
- Understanding of SSO, SCIM, and API integrations (e.g., connecting apps to Slack/Jira) and the ability to troubleshoot basic access and configuration issues
- Ability to coordinate effectively between technical teams (Security, Workplace Tech) and business users, translating technical requirements into clear instructions
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a rapidly evolving tool stack; prior exposure to AI tools (like ChatGPT, Glean, or similar) is a strong plus
