Deployed Resources, LLC is looking for a Project Manager I to facilitate projects from original concept through final implementation. The role involves collaborating with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables while managing project quality, cost, and risks.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates, plans, and evaluates projects using accepted project management methodologies
- Coordinates project activities with other state agencies, governmental jurisdictions, or private sector partners and contractors
- Reviews and recommends proposals and bids to management
- Monitors and manages project quality and cost to ensure that project deliverables are acceptable, fulfill the terms of the project contract or specifications, and are completed within budget
- Identifies potential project risks and difficulties and designs strategies to mitigate or avoid them
- Communicates project methodology and processes to interested groups and team members
- Compiles and distributes project information, project status reports, and project budget expenditures
- May initiate projects, obtain authorization and commitment, and demonstrate business need and project feasibility
- May develop criteria for evaluating programs, proposals, and other pertinent information related to project assignments
- May develop project budgets, schedules, work plans, resources requirements, and cost estimates and projections
- May assign duties and responsibilities and coordinate the work of project staff
- Clear understanding of the Government Procurement process and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to interpret project requirements and ensure compliance
- Conduct periodic reviews of subcontract processes to ensure deliverables and timelines are met
- Performs related work as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience as an advanced responsibility manager, or similar experience
- 1+ year of project experience, ideally in emergency logistics, base camp ops, field/deployment ops
- Clear understanding of the Government Procurement process and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to interpret project requirements and ensure compliance
- Demonstrated competency in strategic planning, management, execution of key initiatives
- Proven track record of success in organizational leadership, growth, transformation
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, proactive leader with 24/7 availability
- Aptitude in analytical, decision-making, problem solving and critical thinking
- Understanding of relevant business functions
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, occupational health physical and lift test (if applicable), credit check, and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record
- OSHA 30
- PMP (or other relevant PMI) certification
