SoTalent is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and accelerate growth across enterprise-level accounts. The role involves engaging with prospects, developing proposals, and maintaining a strategic pipeline of opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospects and clients throughout the entire business development cycle—from outreach and relationship building to negotiation and implementation
- Present opportunity requirements internally and collaborate with leadership, pricing, and support teams to build competitive proposals
- Develop engaging, client‑centered presentations and pitch materials
- Negotiate core contract terms and coordinate the internal and external legal review process
- Maintain a strategic pipeline of opportunities across your assigned region, utilizing CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Collaborate with internal departments to respond to RFPs, RFQs, and other formal proposal requests
- Partner with manufacturing and supply partners to generate leads and secure program‑level pricing advantages
Requirements:
- 3+ years of outside B2B sales or business development experience
- Successful track record selling products in janitorial, sanitation, cleaning supplies, breakroom, safety, or related categories
- Experience working with large or enterprise‑scale accounts
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities
- Effective networking skills, including outreach through social media, associations, cooperatives, GPOs, and similar organizations
- Ability to adapt go‑to‑market strategies based on customer needs, market trends, and seasonal business cycles
- Strong organizational, presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
- Willingness to adopt new technologies, tools, and evolving sales methodologies
- Skill in identifying, qualifying, and prioritizing high‑potential prospects based on strategic criteria
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- CRM experience—Salesforce preferred
