The Junior UI/UX Product Developer will support the design, development, and optimization of user experiences and product strategies, collaborating with teams to enhance patient care through advanced telehealth technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting user research through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and usability testing
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
- Support the creation of user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with product managers to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success
- Analyze product usage data using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar to identify areas for optimization
- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark product features and user experiences against industry standards
- Work with UX designers to translate research findings into actionable design recommendations
- Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize potential solutions
- Ensure that designs align with user needs, business goals, and accessibility standards
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that research findings and product insights are effectively implemented
- Provide regular updates on project progress and outcomes to team members and leadership
- Stay updated on UX and product analysis trends, tools, and best practices
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development and refinement of UX and product analysis processes within the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) with 2+ years experience in UX research, product analysis, or a related role
- Basic knowledge of UX research methods, usability testing, and data analysis techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms
- Requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential space to work from as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home or apartment (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home. Using a hot spot from a mobile device (tethering) or higher latency ISP is not acceptable
- Must be an U.S. citizen, speak fluent English, and able to maintain and retain suitability investigation and clearance as required
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is preferred
- Certification in UX design, product management, or data analysis is a plus
- Familiarity with design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or Axure RP
- Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar is a plus
- Basic understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Veteran/military retiree and/or military spouse or Experience working with and/or for military communities
- Experience in or supporting a Contact Center, Military/Veteran services, or healthcare environment
