Responsibilities:
- Assist Rocket customers with questions and problems regarding the installation, setup, configuration and functionality of Rocket Software products
- Troubleshoot reported symptoms to aid in the resolution process either directly for the customer or to help guide the development team in providing permanent solutions
- Work as part of a team with limited direction
Requirements:
- Operating Systems: Windows, Unix/Linux, basic of z/OS
- Ticketing/ITSM: Hands-on with incident, problem, change processes and tools
- Deployment: Web/application deployment experience (configs, logs, rollbacks)
- Mainframe: z/OS operations, COBOL, JCL, ISPF
- ETL/BI: Informatica, DataStage, Tableau (support and troubleshooting)
- Databases: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server (admin basics, query troubleshooting)
- 2+ years of technical engineering support
- Available for some after hours, weekend and/or holiday work
- Preferred technical computer knowledge
- Bachelor of Science Degree preferred
- Programming: Java, Python, C++, C# (debugging/automation level)
- Cloud Understanding: Foundational knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP concepts
