Cline is the leading open-source AI coding agent, known for its innovative solutions and security features. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to help identify, engage, and qualify potential customers for their rapidly expanding AI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify new leads through outbound prospecting, email campaigns, calls, and social outreach
- Research target accounts and identify the right decision-makers across industries
- Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach that communicates our AI value proposition clearly and compellingly
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ challenges and assess fit
- Partner with Account Executives (AEs) to set up qualified meetings and drive pipeline growth
- Maintain accurate activity and opportunity tracking in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaign execution and feedback
- Learn continuously — about our customers, the AI industry, and your own craft
Requirements:
- 1–2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (startup or SaaS experience a plus)
- Strong communication and writing skills — comfortable engaging with technical and business stakeholders
- Driven, resilient, and curious mindset — you're motivated by learning and problem-solving
- Excitement about AI, technology, and innovation — eager to understand how it transforms industries
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
