Scopely is a global interactive entertainment and mobile-first video game company, and they are seeking a Lead Product Manager to join their Monopoly GO! game team. The role involves leading product features, collaborating with various teams to enhance gameplay experiences, and staying current on market trends to craft innovative features.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product features from concept through release and post-launch
- Build new multiplayer social and/or solo minigames that will improve and expand our players’ gameplay experiences
- Turn high-level ideas into detailed, well-designed features
- Build and maintain clear, concise game specs for the entire team
- Partner with design and UX to oversee the completion of designs and specs to make sure they align with player needs, franchise strategy, and business goals
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, engineers, analysts, and producers to develop premier features
- Offer timely, frequent feedback on features, and Provide engineers with implementation details as needed
- Stay current on market trends to craft innovative roadmap features
Requirements:
- 5+ years in F2P mobile casual games
- Strong verbal and written skills; able to explain the 'why' to align the team with the product vision; ability to thrive in global team environment
- Skilled at prioritizing high-impact initiatives, understanding trade-offs, anticipating risks, managing expectations, and ensuring quality deliverables
- Exemplified experience in leading indirect reports toward shared goals
- Ability to build experiences that encourage positive player behavior, especially on features without comparables in the market
- Intermediate statistics; able to assess when and how to use data, translate product issues into analytics tasks, set hypotheses, interpret data optimally, and visualize it in Excel
- Outcome-driven with a strong focus on execution and an ambitious mentality
- Proven experience in building and supporting social gameplay mechanics
- Passion for F2P Mobile Games: Enthusiastic about working on sophisticated F2P ecosystems, handling diverse player life cycles and spending behaviors
