Lead Product Designer

Benepass is a company focused on making benefits easy and customizable for the workforce. They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of design output, ensuring quality and cohesion across their fintech platform while collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Take ambiguous product problems and frame them into clear design solutions
• Own the quality standard for design and ensure cohesion and unity across application surfaces
• Complete designs directly and, as needed, direct contractors and collaborators
• Define and run the Design critique process, ensuring high quality designs ship consistently
• Collaborate with integrity and be open to feedback without defensiveness
• Use AI tools to accelerate your work

Requirements:

• 6+ years of Design experience, with a minimum of 3 years startup experience
• Demonstrated ownership of design quality end-to-end for a product or major product area
• Experience holding a strong internal quality bar
• Preference for hands-on design work and desire to stay close to execution
• Comfort operating in a complex environment and being the final Design decision maker
• Fintech / benefits / e-commerce experience is a plus
