Software Engineer, Sr Staff - Lead Developer / Deputy Chief Engineer

Lockheed Martin is embarking on a digital transformation journey through its 1LMX program. They are seeking a Sr Staff Software Engineer to co-lead the development team for the CAM Portal suite, guiding developers and making architectural decisions to implement program requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Support and guide other developers while also directly making architectural decisions and executing development tasks
• Support the CAM Portal Chief Engineer in requirements, specification, design, and process execution and review
• Enable the implementation of 1LMX requirements in alignment with program milestones

Requirements:

• Strong full-stack software development skills with C#, SQL, etc
• Significant experience designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining scalable software applications for business-critical functions
• Significant experience designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining interfaces between systems
• Experience with Starburst and Trino SQL
• Significant experience translating functional specs into technical specs
• Experience with Teams, Zoom, Confluence, Jira, Instant Messaging and other similar collaboration tools
• Significant experience with Agile/Scrum practices, including use of Jira
• US Citizenship is required for this role
• Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) and project/program management (PM) concepts
• Familiarity with 1LMX business processes and rhythm
• Experience analyzing requirements and synthesizing them in functional and technical specs
• Experience executing and reviewing system design decisions
