Cotality is a company dedicated to transforming the property industry with innovative solutions. The role involves designing reports and dashboards, conducting data analysis, and managing ETL processes to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build compelling reports, dashboards, and data visualizations in Tableau and Excel to empower data-driven decisions
• Conduct deep-dive data analysis to identify key trends and translate findings into actionable business insights
• Write and refine advanced SQL queries to efficiently prepare data for reporting and analytics
• Engage in data cleaning, manipulation, and statistical analysis using Python, R, or similar tools
• Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure reliable data flow from various sources into our data warehouse
• Partner with teams across the company to gather data requirements and implement automated data solutions
• Implement robust validation checks and error handling to uphold the integrity and accuracy of our data
• Apply expertise in Google BigQuery for large-scale data analysis and transformation
• Prioritize and manage multiple project tasks, adapting to changes while meeting critical deadlines
• Maintain clear, concise project documentation for all plans, milestones, and results
• Contribute to forecasting and capacity modeling efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
• Proven expertise in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize for performance
• Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience with Tableau or BI tool equivalent
• Experience with ETL processes, data pipeline orchestration, and automation a plus
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python, PowerShell, etc) for automation
• Familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar cloud-based data warehouses
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring
• Knowledge of forecasting models and statistical analysis preferred
• Knowledge of workforce capacity planning techniques strongly preferred
