Senior Cloud Engineer

Rolls-Royce is an iconic brand known for its innovation and commitment to safety and reliability. They are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure Government environments, ensuring compliance with federal standards while delivering mission-critical services for government and defense clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of a secure and scalable Azure Government Cloud architectures
• Ensure solutions align with federal standards (FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, CMMC L2)
• Manage day-to-day operations of Azure Government Cloud instances including monitoring, patching, and incident response
• Lead US Platform Operations Team with best practices of utilizing DevSecOps
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, program management, and executive leadership teams to implement project workstreams
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform for repeatable and automated deployments

Requirements:

• Associate's degree with 7+ years in Cloud or related IT experience OR
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years Cloud or related IT experience OR
• Master's Degree experience with 3 + years of Cloud or related IT experience OR
• PhD/JD with experience in Cloud or related IT experience
• In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to travel up to 10%
• Experience writing and deploying Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code utilizing CICD pipelines
• Strong understanding of Cloud Role Based Access models
