Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace and defense company, and they are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to support the Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop IT solutions that meet functional requirements, focusing on process automation, data management, and system integration.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical designs
- Support integration with other enterprise systems (ERP, CAD) and platforms using ESI, REST, or ODATA/other service types
- Conduct unit, integration, and system testing, and resolve complex application defects
- Develops using agile processes and common technology stacks
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates/patches for system stability
- Create technical documentation and support end-user system demo
- Configuration and deployment of applications using Openshift/Kubernetes
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) expertise, with a strong focus on PTC Windchill
- US Citizenship is required for this role due to Defense Systems access requirement
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical designs
- Experience delivering software solutions that meet identified business needs using an industry leading PLM platform (ie. Dassault 3DX, PTC Windchill, Siemens TeamCenter)
- Support integration with other enterprise systems (ERP, CAD) and platforms using ESI, REST, or ODATA/other service types
- Experience with SQL, Java, and/or Javascript languages
- Experience with at least one relational DB (PostgreSQL, SQLServer, MySQL, etc.)
- Infrastructure automation tools and troubleshooting applications
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code and integrating DevOps tools into end-to-end pipelines
- Experience of any combination in system/database/network planning & administration
- Conduct unit, integration, and system testing, and resolve complex application defects
- Engineering, Production Operations and/or Supply Chain domain experience including knowledge of the Engineering release and related downstream business processes
- Experience with cloud technologies, Amazon Web Services preferred, but other cloud platforms such as OpenStack and others are relevant as well
- Experience with various flavors of Linux (RHEL, CentOS) or MS Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, Nano) environments and the ability to build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface (CLI)
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates/patches for system stability. Create technical documentation and support end-user system demo
- Configuration and deployment of applications using Openshift/Kubernetes
- Experience on Agile development programs. (Jira, VersionOne)
