LabCorp's Patient Customer Service department is seeking energetic, passionate BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH) customer service focused individuals who seek solutions to challenging patient billing issues. The role involves delivering exemplary customer experiences, primarily assisting Spanish speaking customers with their inquiries and payment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office and/or private insurance carriers
- 85% of calls will be assisting Spanish speaking customers
- Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances
- Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone
- Maintain performance goals
- Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program
Requirements:
- Professionally fluent and proficient in both English and Spanish, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service in Spanish, ensuring clear and effective communication with Spanish-speaking clients
- Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent organization skills
- Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications
- Alpha-Numeric data entry proficiency
- Excellent verbal and listening skills
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second
- No satellite internet
- Ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cord. Equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi, mobile routers, or mobile hotspot with ethernet port
- Previous medical and/or call center experience a plus
