SiriusXM is the leading audio entertainment company in North America, and they are seeking a Summer Intern in Software Engineering focused on Financial Systems. The intern will work on enhancement projects for the company’s Salesforce implementations and assist other Salesforce teams within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document technical requirements and specifications
- Develop one or more Salesforce-related enhancements within the scope of a defined project
- Present deliverables for review and outline deployment plan
- Assist other Salesforce teams within the company
Requirements:
- Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2027 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship
- Majoring in Data Science, Information Management, Information Technology or a related degree program (current masters student in these areas preferred)
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Apex, DX, and related technologies (Salesforce certifications a plus)
- Knowledge regarding Salesforce Sales Cloud (CPQ), Experience Cloud (Communities), Revenue Cloud (Billing) a plus
- Working knowledge of GIT version control
- Understanding of billing and shopping cart systems a plus
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or equivalent applications
- Exceptional willingness to learn or enhance knowledge of skillsets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to pay attention to details and be organized
- Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to 'internal client' and customer service principles
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S
- Those graduating by May 2027 are preferred
- Current masters student in these areas preferred
- Salesforce certifications a plus
