TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, seeking a Customer Service Representative for a seasonal remote role. The representative will assist customers with voting instructions and ballot items, handle inbound and outbound calls, and maintain professionalism while navigating multiple systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with questions about voting instructions and ballot items
- Help customers via phone, online, or mail
- Conduct outbound calls
- Follow provided scripts verbatim
- Navigate multiple systems using dual monitors while speaking and taking notes
- Manage calls from customers who may be frustrated or confused, maintaining professionalism at all times
- Support deadlines tied to meetings
Requirements:
- 1+ year of call center or contact center customer service experience
- 6+ months of outbound calling experience within the last 24 months
- Ability to persuade customers to complete a required action (not sales-related)
- Strong verbal communication and a clear, professional speaking voice
- Ability to follow scripts word‑for‑word
- Ability to multitask effectively (talk, listen, take notes, toggle systems)
- Experience handling high‑stress situations or de-escalating upset callers
- Comfortable learning quickly and adapting to a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with cloud-based phone systems (preferred but not required)
