They are seeking a Senior Manager - Business Analysis to lead a team that enhances the digital experience for Aetna members by acting as a liaison between IT and business units, managing technology projects, and evaluating new applications.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the successful implementation of business analysis solutions, including leading and managing technology projects, and planning, coordinating, and executing the successful implementation of technology solutions
- Assesses the feasibility and potential impact of adopting new business analysis advances and makes recommendations for their implementation
- Assists with evaluating new technologies, tools, and systems that can enhance business processes and operations
- Conducts reviews, tests, and evaluations to ensure that technology solutions meet the defined quality standards
- Directs individuals in the development and implementation of technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with business analysis objectives
- Collaborates with stakeholders and technology teams to foster strong relationships, ensuring that their needs and expectations are effectively addressed
- Liaises with cross-functional teams, under minimal supervision, to gather and document business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide recommendations for technology solutions
- Determines whether vendor deliverables align with business requirements and adhere to quality standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience, preferably with work experience within an area that is in or supports Information Technology
- 3+ years of experience leading / managing teams indirectly as a Team / Technical Lead or a role that required Direct Reports with additional preferred experience leading medium to large sized teams across multiple locations
- 2+ years partnering with architecture, product, and program management teams to influence product development assisting or improving products
- Experience with leading teams who follow a Scrum/Agile development methodology
- Bachelor's degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
- Experience managing multiple work streams and dependencies
- Be able to identify a vision along with the plans, which need to be implemented to meet the end goal, evaluating situations, decisions, and issues in the short, medium, and long term

- Influence and persuade - able to present sound and well-reasoned arguments to convince others. Adapt to the situation and can draw from a range of strategies to persuade people in a way that results in agreement or behavior change
