Plein Air Agency is a leading marketing consultancy focusing on the restaurant and hospitality industry. They are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Manager, Business Analytics to support a portfolio of clients by translating data into actionable business recommendations and managing operational analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary analytics lead for multiple restaurant clients, acting as a strategic partner to account and client teams
- Own the narrative behind the data—turning complex datasets into clear, actionable client stories
- Design and deliver performance reporting and media tests, gleaning performance insights tailored to each brand’s unique goals
- Manage and verify data integrity by collating and validating data from multiple client sources to ensure consistent, accurate reporting
- Assist with data governance and documentation to support the implementation of new data storage systems and execute data transfers
- Analyze campaign performance (CRM, loyalty, promotions) and provide recommendations for optimizing engagement and ROI
- Develop guest segmentation models to inform targeting, personalization, and lifecycle strategy
- Evaluate test-and-learn experiments (A/B, multivariate) and translate findings into client-ready presentations
- Measure and optimize performance across paid digital media, owned digital channels (email, app, website), and social platforms
- Partner with media teams and platforms to assess attribution, channel efficiency, and spend performance
- Support conversion funnel analysis, clickstream behavior, and retention drivers
- Support financial analysis of marketing initiatives, including incremental revenue, AOV shifts, and LTV
- Partner with clients’ finance or operations teams to align marketing insights with business KPIs
- Help craft forecasts and business cases that guide client investment decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive analytics experience, preferably in an agency, consulting, multi-client, or multi-brand setting
- Restaurant, or retail analytics experience is highly valued
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, BigQuery, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Strong grasp of marketing and media metrics (e.g., CPA, ROAS, CTR, conversion rate)
- Ability to balance analytical depth with client-facing clarity—great storytelling with data
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines across client accounts
