Wilcore Technologies, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer I to enhance the efficiency and reliability of their systems. This role involves automating deployment processes and ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines, while collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to resolve infrastructure challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and applications
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Assist in managing cloud environments, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to improve system reliability
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation
- Hands-on experience with Azure services and administration
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc)
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS preferred)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, or equivalent)
- Scripting skills (Powershell, Bash, or Python)
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices, including integrating security scans and compliance into pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
- US Citizenship, ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments
- Certifications related to DevOps, cloud platforms, or infrastructure automation
