About this role
Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a Telematics Software Engineer to design and develop software solutions for vehicle telematics systems. The candidate will work on data communication, GPS tracking, and connected vehicle technologies to ensure reliable and secure data transmission.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain telematics and connected vehicle applications
- Work with GPS, vehicle sensors, and communication modules
- Implement data collection, processing, and transmission systems
- Integrate software with cloud platforms and backend systems
- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met
Requirements:
- Strong programming skills (C++, Java, or Python)
- Knowledge of telematics protocols and embedded systems
- Experience with cloud integration and APIs
- Understanding of networking and data communication
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
