Atlas Connections is actively hiring Electrical Engineers to support mission critical data centers and advanced life sciences facilities. The role involves designing electrical systems for regulated pharmaceutical production environments and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and review electrical designs for high-reliability infrastructure
- Perform detailed load calculations and fault current studies
- Support commissioning (FAT/SAT)
- Coordinate with MEP teams and consultants
- Support documentation, BoD, and design development
- Review submittals and construction documents
- Design electrical systems for regulated pharmaceutical production environments
- Support cleanroom and controlled manufacturing facilities
- Coordinate with process engineers and laboratory teams
- Ensure compliance with regulated industry standards
Requirements:
- U.S. Work Authorization Required (No sponsorship available)
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience required (see below) This must be data center or life sciences
- Candidates must provide specific project examples including scope, size, and responsibilities
- 3+ years of electrical design experience specific to data centers
- Experience designing mission critical power systems including: UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, RPPs, busway
- Ability to discuss MW size, redundancy models (N+1, 2N), and system topology
- 3+ years of experience supporting regulated life sciences environments
- Experience in biotech, ATMP (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products), or modern pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Familiarity with aseptic production, compounding, filling, freeze drying, or similar regulated processes
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong experience with construction documentation and design coordination
- Ability to manage stakeholders in complex project environments
- Clear communication and technical leadership
