Bio-Techne is a company focused on enabling cutting-edge research in Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics. The Sales Development Intern will gain hands-on experience in lead generation, prospecting, and account planning while supporting sales leadership and field sales.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales leadership and field sales to review prospecting data
- Help evaluate and prioritize sales leads to support day-to-day prospecting efforts
- Identify existing contacts and recent engagement activity within internal systems
- Create concise account summaries to support sales planning and outreach
- Use modern sales prospecting and Microsoft productivity tools to summarize insights and share updates with the team
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in business, life sciences, marketing, data analytics, or a related field
- Must have completed at least the sophomore year of college
- Available to work full-time for the duration of the internship program
- Based in or able to commute to the San Diego metropolitan area
- Experience reviewing, organizing, or working with data or lists of information (e.g., research, prospect lists)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with sales teams and sharing insights
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot to organize and summarize information or support workflows
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams and Outlook in a professional setting
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Power Automate, and SciLeads is a plus, but not required
