Y&L Consulting is seeking a Business Process Engineer with pharmacy domain knowledge and technical expertise. This role will lead process transformation initiatives across pharmacy operations, collaborating with IT and compliance teams to implement scalable, data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and optimize end-to-end pharmacy workflows across operational, clinical, and enterprise-level functions
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to implement automation, RPA, AI-driven process enhancements, and data-driven insights
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and compliance gaps, and propose innovative, measurable solutions using tools such as SQL, Excel, or similar for reporting and analysis
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards to monitor process performance and improvement outcomes
- Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure process adoption
- Support change management initiatives and embed a culture of operational excellence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification (required)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in process improvement, business process engineering, or operational excellence, preferably in pharmacy or healthcare operations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization, SQL, Excel, etc
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
- Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows, compliance requirements, and pharmacy management systems (preferred)
- Technical aptitude with exposure to process mapping, workflow automation, and data analytics tools (e.g., Visio, RPA)
