UST is a mission-driven company that transforms lives through technology. They are seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to build, operate, and improve CI/CD pipelines in AWS, automate infrastructure and deployments, and ensure secure, reliable cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines on AWS to support consistent, repeatable application delivery across environments
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and update AWS resources safely, consistently, and with proper version control
- Partner with development teams to standardize build, test, and deployment automation, improving release frequency and reducing deployment risk
- Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and dashboards to improve system observability and accelerate incident detection and troubleshooting
- Apply AWS security best practices (least privilege IAM, secrets management, encryption, secure networking) and support compliance requirements relevant to client environments
- Support incident response and root cause analysis (RCA), implement corrective/preventive actions, and continuously improve reliability and operational processes
- Optimize AWS workloads for performance, scalability, and cost, partnering with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements
- Maintain clear documentation for pipelines, runbooks, deployment patterns, and operational procedures; contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team
- Work within an Agile/Scrum delivery model, collaborating closely with engineers and stakeholders to meet sprint and release goals
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps roles
- Hands-on experience implementing AWS-based CI/CD pipelines using a modern toolchain (e.g., AWS CodePipeline or Git-based CI such as GitHub Actions)
- Infrastructure as Code experience with AWS CDK and/or Terraform/CloudFormation (ability to build reusable modules/stacks and manage change safely)
- Experience with major AWS services - S3, IAM, EC2, VPC, KMS, Secrets, Security Groups, Glue, OpenSearch
- In-Depth understanding of IAM roles and policies in AWS
- In-depth knowledge of current Cloud best practices and tool chains including Software Engineering, DevSecOps and CI/CD
- Must Have: AWS -S3, IAM, EC2, VPC, KMS, Secrets, Security Groups, Glue, Codepipeline, OpenSearch, IAC (CloudFormation, Terraform or CDK (Preferred))
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Scripting skills in Bash/SH and Python
- Security-minded approach with knowledge of cloud security best practices
