NorthITE is an investment management firm focused on alternative investments, and they are seeking an accomplished Managing Director, Business Development to lead capital-raising initiatives and expand their investor network. The role requires deep expertise in investor engagement and strategic business development within private markets, with a focus on raising capital for private investment offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), RIAs, family offices, and institutional investors
- Design and execute capital-raising strategies to increase investor participation in private debt and equity offerings
- Deliver tailored, high-impact presentations to prospective investors and investment partners
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities across alternative investment sectors
- Stay current on market trends, regulatory developments, and industry shifts to effectively position investment offerings
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified investors and consistently drive fundraising efforts to meet or exceed targets
Requirements:
- 20+ years of experience in external wholesaling, financial advisory, institutional sales, or capital-raising roles
- Demonstrated success in raising substantial capital and building long-term investor relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- Strong knowledge of alternative investments, private markets, and public market strategies
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Well-established network within financial and investment communities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a performance-driven environment
