X-energy is a company focused on enterprise content management solutions, and they are seeking a Business Analyst IV to support business operations through analysis and interpretation of content. This role involves working closely with managers to implement business strategies and improve processes based on enterprise content requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business operations and strategic initiatives
- Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity
- Elicit and refine business requirements via interviews with stakeholders at all levels within the organization and via review of existing process documentation and other artifacts
- Analyze enterprise content management needs and develop detailed requirements for document control systems that support X-energy's nuclear engineering, regulatory compliance, and operational workflows
- Evaluate and recommend enterprise content management solutions that meet X-energy's unique requirements for organizing technical nuclear documentation while ensuring security and compliance
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving business operations. Develop project plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely project completion
- Design metadata frameworks and taxonomies to improve searchability, retrieval, and reporting of critical nuclear engineering documents and regulatory filings
- Work closely with various departments, including operations, regulatory, engineering, and quality assurance, to gather information, understand needs, and deliver comprehensive analytical solutions
- Develop standardized documentation templates and workflows to ensure consistency in capturing technical specifications, engineering processes, and regulatory information across the organization
- Create process maps and documentation for content lifecycle management, ensuring proper version control and audit trails for technical and regulatory documentation
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
- Analyze data governance requirements and help develop policies specific to nuclear technology documentation that ensure compliance with NRC requirements and industry best practices
- Always maintain professional demeanor and behavior in all forms of communication

- Mentor team members on content management best practices and methodologies specific to highly regulated industries
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, or a related field or comparable professional experience
- Typically, ten years of experience in a relevant role required
- Experience in a regulated industry (i.e. nuclear)
- Experience with technical writing
- Experience planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects independently to meet deadlines and to complete tasks
- Experience with enterprise content management systems, document control processes, or information architecture development
- Expertise in business process analysis and optimization in content management systems
- Familiarity with content management systems like Box, SharePoint Online, and OpenText
- Experience implementing or supporting enterprise content management solutions in compliance with quality assurance programs like 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into practical document management solutions
