Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. The Sr. Mission Integration Engineer will be responsible for the integration of Anduril’s digital infrastructure across Maritime platforms and classified networks, supporting critical defense missions involving the U.S., Australia, and the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Integration Initiatives: Embed Anduril’s systems—including Lattice OS, Maritime platforms, UUVs, and operational autonomy software—within IL5/IL6 environments, sovereign cloud builds, and multinational Classified Defense Environments (CDE)
- Enable Maritime-Centric Applications: Integrate unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), seabed systems, command-and-control nodes, and other Maritime platforms with classified cloud systems and tactical networks
- Develop Robust Architectures: Engineer and validate system designs that enable encrypted mesh networking, edge-to-cloud data pipelines, and operationally reliable command-and-control infrastructure
- Collaborate Across Teams: Liaise across technical stacks—including hardware, software, autonomy, and tactical networking teams—to ensure consistent, dependable, and secure end-to-end mission system capabilities
- Support Mission-Critical Events: Partner with government and allied stakeholders to facilitate field tests, exercises, and real-time system integration events, while rapidly resolving cross-functional technical challenges as needed
- Streamline Processes: Generate critical technical documentation, including system integration test plans, deployment configurations, and repeatable workflows specifically tailored for allied and sovereign environments
- Influence R&D Roadmaps: Leverage in-field experience to inform the next generation of Lattice Maritime hardware/software capabilities, contributing to global mission readiness and technological advances
- Act as a Senior Diplomatic Liaison: Represent Anduril’s technical leadership during multinational partnerships, ensuring interoperable systems across U.S., Australian, and UK defense frameworks
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline
- At least 5+ years of experience in systems integration, mission systems engineering, or platform integration involving complex distributed systems
- Demonstrated proficiency with tactical and classified network engineering
- Demonstrated proficiency with systems integration and DevOps/DevSecOps tooling
- Demonstrated proficiency with distributed systems and advanced digital infrastructure
- Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time in support of integration, testing, and collaboration efforts across multinational partners
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- Prior experience supporting Navy UUV operations, undersea warfare systems, submarine combat systems, or related Maritime platforms
- Direct experience with Lattice OS, edge compute platforms, or secure mesh networking solutions
- Familiarity with integrating autonomy software or tactical hardware into classified military environments
- Proven ability to diagnose complex hardware/software/networking issues in dynamic, ambiguous operational contexts
- Professional experience working with allied nations, such as supporting AUKUS (Australia, UK, U.S.) strategic missions or multinational defense collaboration
