Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engineering solutions for defense systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and standards
- Conduct analysis, simulations, and testing to validate system performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, system engineers, and project managers to integrate hardware and software components
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project status and findings
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting activities to resolve technical issues
- Support the integration and testing of prototypes and production systems in laboratory and field environments
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and incorporate innovative approaches into project solutions
- Ensure all engineering activities adhere to security protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, software, or systems engineering
- Proven expertise in one or more specialized engineering disciplines such as aerodynamics, structural dynamics, or system safety
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, design processes, and testing methodologies
- Experience working with complex systems and cross-disciplinary teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; advanced degrees are a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Proficiency with relevant engineering tools, software, and simulation programs
