QA Engineer

Veeva Systems is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud, helping life sciences companies bring therapies to patients faster. They are seeking a functional QA Engineer to join the Vault CRM team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of their enterprise SaaS product.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports
• Document test execution results in the designated test case management application
• Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes according to project schedules and timelines
• Identify, document, and explain defects within the defect tracking system
• Collaborate with the automation group to increase regression coverage for new and existing features
• Acquire and maintain detailed knowledge of the product suite
• Work in an Agile team environment alongside software engineers and product managers

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a functional QA Engineer in the United States
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate within an Agile framework with a focus on efficiency and quality
• Comprehensive understanding of Software QA methodologies, including black box and grey box testing
• Experience writing test cases for sanity, boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency testing
• Technical knowledge of web, mobile, and desktop application testing
• Experience executing SQL database queries
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent professional experience
• Must reside in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones
• Must have unrestricted right to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available
• Experience in a SaaS environment with Agile development processes
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and TestRail
