Project Engineer Stf, UAS & Attritable Systems - Level 4

Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace company, and they are seeking a Project Engineer Staff for their Advanced Development Programs – UAS & Attritable Systems team. This role involves driving the technical execution of UAS and attritable system projects from concept through test, while collaborating with multiple business units to define and execute UAS development roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, formulate, and coordinate technical activities across program management and engineering to create novel air‑vehicle designs
• Collaborate with multiple business units and stakeholder organizations to define and execute UAS development roadmaps
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design and test challenges to maintain schedule and performance targets
• Document technical decisions, maintain configuration control, and communicate status to senior leadership
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in systems engineering

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience releasing drawings in Catia V5 and/or 3DX
• Experience with 3D printing
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience as a lead designer for structures or vehicle systems
• Experience working with the Conceptual Design organization
• Experience in Flight Test
