Our client, Smart Caliber Technology, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong Python and Streamlit experience to build applications that support a new variable-copay health plan. The role involves transforming data and integrating it with PostgreSQL and APIs to enhance user experience and provide clear copay information.

Responsibilities:

• Build Streamlit applications within Databricks to support a digital-first health plan
• Pull data from the data lake, transform it, and egress it to PostgreSQL and APIs
• Support the Find Care experience and deliver clear copay information and provider ratings
• Understand performance and tuning of PostgreSQL as needed
• Communicate effectively and present at executive levels when required

Requirements:

• Strong Python and Streamlit development skills
• experience creating user‑facing apps in Databricks
• ability to egress data from data lake to PostgreSQL and API endpoints
• polished and well‑spoken, comfortable presenting to leadership
• working closely with business stakeholders
• familiarity with AI‑enabled search or recommendation tools
• Understanding of variable copay health plan design and value‑based provider networks
