As a Staff Software Engineer, Blockchain, you will design, build, and optimize software solutions that support the issuance of digital assets, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency of the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement technical strategy for stablecoin infrastructure platforms spanning transfers, stablecoin issuance, rewards and blockchain integrations
- Architect core reusable services and APIs that drive reliable, compliant, and efficient asset movement across chains and external providers
- Lead cross-team projects to improve performance, observability, security, and developer experience
- Collaborate closely with staff engineers, tech leads, product, and operational partners to drive organizational change
- Foster a culture of technical leadership, transparency, and high standards within and across teams
- Mentor engineers at all levels to elevate system health and engineering best practices
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our blockchain services through best practices in software design, testing, and deployment
- Optimize existing blockchain infrastructure to enhance performance, reduce latency, and improve operational efficiency
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Stay informed about emerging trends in blockchain, distributed systems, and financial technology to drive innovation within the team
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems in high-growth technology companies
- Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives from conception to delivery
- Deep expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, high-performance systems
- Strong experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence across teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across the organization
- Track record of building automation systems and improving operational efficiency
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve how you work
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
