Applications Engineer 4

Sunrise Systems, Inc. is a leading athletic footwear and apparel manufacturing company seeking an Applications Engineer 4. In this role, you will collaborate with Engineering, Analytics, and Program teams to validate and enhance a new Generative AI solution, focusing on testing and improving the application built with React, Node.js, and Databricks.

Responsibilities:

• You will work closely with Engineering, Analytics, and Program teams to validate and enhance the capabilities of a new Generative AI solution
• You will help test and improve a GenAI powered application built with React, Node.js and Databricks integrated with modern LLMs
• Your feedback will directly shape quality, safety and user experience
• You'll be part of a world class team of engineers, analysts, and material developers
• Focus areas include materials manufacturing, materials development, materials sourcing, costing and planning

Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 8 or 9 years directly relevant work experience
• One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 6 yrs; Masters + 7 yrs; Associates degree + 9 yrs; High School + 10 yrs
• Experience with React, Node.js and Databricks integrated with modern LLMs
• Ability to learn new tools quickly with minimal guidance
• Familiarity and experience with client data landscape
• Interest in working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to communicate complex concepts to senior and business audiences
• Ability to develop strong partnerships and influence peers across a multi-layered organization
• Positive, Can-do attitude
