Mediaplanet is a content marketing company that develops industry-focused campaigns connecting brands with influential voices. The Sales Specialist will lead integrated content marketing campaigns from concept through launch, focusing on solution-based selling and managing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Research industry trends and develop campaign themes and content concepts
- Identify and secure relevant influencers, experts, and strategic partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content with campaign objectives
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and engage potential clients
- Pitch campaigns and Mediaplanet products to relevant Mid-Market and Enterprise companies
- Secure new business by matching client goals with appropriate solutions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive communication
- Ensure a strong understanding of client needs, objectives, and expectations
- Oversee campaign execution in partnership with the production team
- Manage timelines, deadlines, and quality control across all deliverables
- Ensure a smooth and on-time campaign launch that meets both client and campaign goals
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of professional experience, preferred fields of sales, project management, customer success
- Proven experience managing client relationships and closing new business
- Strong phone-based pitching and outbound prospecting skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- B2B Industry experience in healthcare and/or technology
- Experience in media, advertising, or content marketing
