They are seeking a strategic Staff Product Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for their stream processing portfolio, focusing on developing and executing go-to-market strategies to drive awareness and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute high-impact launch and ongoing GTM strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product management, sales, field operations, and growth and marketing
- Craft compelling messaging, enablement resources, and thought leadership that emphasize Confluent as leading data streaming platform
- Position real-time data processing as a core strength of Confluent's Data Streaming Platform
- Influence product direction, support sales and campaign teams
- Represent Confluent at conferences, events, and webinars as a subject matter expert, sharing insights and connecting with diverse audiences
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the stream processing space
Requirements:
- 8+ years of B2B product marketing experience in a SaaS, data and analytics, cloud, or enterprise software company, with a focus on data infrastructure, data engineering, analytics, or cloud-native platforms
- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing go-to-market strategies for technical products
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, field CTOs, customer success, and technical marketing teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with a focus on supporting product adoption and measurable outcomes
- Represent Confluent at conferences, events, and webinars as a subject matter expert, sharing insights and connecting with diverse audiences
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the stream processing space
- Knowledge of modern data architectures, real-time analytics, data engineering, data warehousing, event-driven architectures, and ETL processes is highly desirable
- Familiarity and support of open source technologies and business models
