Manager, Systems Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers to foster professional development and maintain a positive team culture
• Monitor customer accounts and proof of concept projects to drive progress and ensure sales targets are met
• Collaborate with sales teams to align technical solutions with customer needs and business objectives
• Engage in customer meetings to provide technical expertise and enhance customer relationships
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members to support their growth
• Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed team quota expectations
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
• Achieve a comprehensive understanding of the company's technology stack and competitive landscape for informed decision-making

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of industry experience, including 3-5 years in a management role
• Proven experience in a quota-carrying position as a systems engineer, architect, or solutions architect
• Strong skills in sales, partnership, and strategic collaboration
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and virtualization
• Experience with data center infrastructure and business-critical applications
• Effective customer engagement and account management abilities
• Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce.com, Excel, Word, Slack, and Zoom
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring skills, and the ability to foster team culture
