Leviat, a CRH company, is a global leader in lifting, insulating and connecting technology for the construction industry. The Business Development Manager will drive adoption of engineered products within the precast/prestress community in North America, providing subject matter expertise and serving as a resource for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with industry engineers and specifiers, both in-person and virtually, to inform on the advantages of Leviat products and drive specifications
- Attending PCI & NPCA National and Regional Association meetings/events to advocate for Leviat’s products and be an active voting member in relevant committees
- Working with the Precast/Prestress sales team to develop and implement strategies for growing key customer accounts
- Collaborating with sales and operations teams to forecast future demand using opportunity pipeline management and CRM tracking
- Acting as an intermediary between external engineers/architects and Leviat engineering team regarding project design requirements
- Coordinating with marketing, product management and technical services teams to create and maintain presentations and other marketing materials for various stakeholders such as Precast/Prestress Engineering Community, Operations and Plant audiences
- Assisting product management with initiatives such as collecting customer input for new product development, conducting voice of customer surveys and reporting market intelligence on industry trends and competitor activity
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working in the Precast/Prestress Industry
- BS in Structural, Civil, or relevant engineering degree (P.E. preferred but not required)
- Experience with CRM and lead generation services (i.e. Salesforce, CMD, Speclink, etc)
- Strong communication skills, able to tailor messages for different audiences
- History of developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Devising sales approaches & solutions
- Cold calling, negotiation & presentation experience
- Highly organized, self-motivated, problem-solver, with a growth mindset
- Willingness to travel across USA & Canada up to 50%
