Lead Product Designer

Snoonu is Qatar’s homegrown Super App, reinventing daily life with blazing-fast delivery, shopping, and more. The Lead Product Designer will take ownership of Snoonu’s Fintech ecosystem, leading a team of designers to create seamless transaction experiences in the app while collaborating with product managers and developers.

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of fintech design — from day-to-day flows to strategic journeys
• Set the standard for craft by designing, prototyping, and delivering polished experiences end-to-end
• Lead and support a small group of product designers (Middle and Senior) working in other product areas. Run critiques and reviews, give feedback, and help them grow
• Work with product managers and stakeholders to align business goals with user needs and make the right trade-offs
• Collaborate with our UX researcher and UX writer, initiate or join research and testing, use insights and clear copy to elevate your work
• Partner closely with developers to ensure designs are feasible, implemented smoothly, and look amazing in the app
• Contribute to critiques and cross-team alignment, keeping consistency high across the design team
• Use and improve Snoonu’s design system together with the team, supported by a dedicated DS designer
• Track results after release, measure impact, and drive follow-ups to improve KPIs

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in product design, including working on complex, multi-service or high-impact products
• Strong in mobile app design and familiar with iOS and Android guidelines
• Pro in Figma, comfortable with prototypes, components, and all the latest tools
• Approach problems with a strong UX mindset, and care about UI craft, paying attention to detail and overall aesthetics
• Comfortable using research, usability testing, and feedback to guide decisions
• Great at explaining design decisions and collaborating with PMs, engineers, and other partners
• Organized and proactive: notice issues in processes and in the product, speak up, and suggest improvements
• Experience designing fintech products (payments, wallets, billing, checkout, subscriptions) or contributing to design systems at scale
• Speak English fluently (B2 or higher)
