Scientific Search is a company focused on supporting mission-critical industries such as aerospace, energy, and industrial manufacturing. They are seeking a relationship-driven Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth and develop new business across advanced welding and hard-facing technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth across 40–60 key accounts ($50K+)
- Develop new business and expand existing territories
- Lead sales strategy for welding & hard-facing product lines
- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Quality & Customer Service
- Manage CRM, forecasts, projections & activity reporting
- Represent my client at trade shows and industry events
- Travel 35–50% (primarily U.S., occasional Canada/Mexico)
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of thermal spray, PTA, laser cladding or specialty alloys (nickel/cobalt)
- Experience selling into maintenance, operations, engineering & procurement stakeholders
- Comfortable owning long capital equipment sales cycles (6–18 months)
- Highly collaborative across Quality, Production & Customer Service
- Demonstrated stability with long-term tenure in at least one prior role
