Westinghouse Electric Co is committed to providing clean energy solutions and is seeking a Sales Manager for their Major Projects division. This role involves ensuring profitable Order Entry growth and building strong customer relationships while leading the sales process and strategy development.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage key relationships with customers for a deeper understanding of the key drivers to win the opportunity
- Lead sales funnel process from opportunity identification through offer development and contract closure
- Create Microsoft D365 opportunities and manage data quality (e.g., award dates, dollar value, opportunity category)
- Lead the capture strategy development and execution, including value proposition development, external partnership agreements, target price setting, target budget and value pricing
- Ensure quality input on pricing strategy and commercial elements of the governance and offer processes within Westinghouse including presentation and obtaining buy-in from WEC key stakeholders to ensure offering meets Westinghouse target objectives and Customer needs
- Consolidate and deliver the overall bid package to the customer that is compliant with the Request for Proposal
- Responsible for Negotiations with the client until final contract signature, ensuring proper teamwork and alignment with all relevant Westinghouse teammates including Account Managers, Product Management, Legal, Finance, and supporting organizations
- Process orders, including Purchase Order reviews, SOX compliance and sales order creation setup
- Conduct win/loss analyses
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business or technical field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Broad knowledge of the commercial nuclear marketplace
