EngagedMD is a growing SaaS startup focused on improving healthcare through a patient journey application. The Market Expansion Manager will drive business development primarily in the Urology market, building client relationships and collaborating with various teams to support the company's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, cultivate, and build prospective client relationships in Urology through conference attendance, cold calling and networking as we build our footprint
- Close new business by identifying requirements, developing and negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring our internal teams can meet contractual obligations
- Collaborate with Customer Success colleagues to set up pilot programs and implementations, positioning them for maximal success over time
- Partner with the Head of Market Expansion to develop, refine, and document go to market motions, messaging, and playbooks for new target markets
- Leverage operational expertise to continuously improve business development systems and processes
- Develop expertise in both our product and the likely markets in which we’ll operate, with a primary focus on Urology
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales management equivalent roles
- 3+ years of experience working in healthcare or with healthcare-based markets
- Experience implementing or optimizing sales operations (people/process/technology)
- An entrepreneurial spirit with proven ability to build business development strategy from scratch in a high-growth startup environment
- Business mindedness with strong perspective on strategic partnership and growth initiatives
- An ability to model EngagedMD's core values and action principles
- Prior successful experience working remotely with distributed teams

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience
- Have previous experience in our target markets of Urology and Oncology
