Senior AI / ML Engineer (Automation AI and ML)

SpanIdea Systems is seeking a highly experienced Senior AI / ML Engineer to lead automation initiatives in code generation and test automation. The role involves designing, building, and scaling AI-driven solutions to enhance developer productivity and software quality, while collaborating with core engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive AI-powered automation initiatives for code generation, refactoring, and test automation
• Design and implement Agentic AI systems using modern LLM frameworks and orchestration tools
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed AI/ML solutions into existing development and CI/CD workflows
• Build, train, fine-tune, and evaluate ML and LLM models using structured and unstructured data
• Apply advanced data engineering and MLOps practices to ensure scalable and reliable AI solutions
• Stay current with the latest AI/ML, LLM, and Agentic AI advancements and translate them into practical implementations
• Define best practices, architectures, and governance for AI-driven automation

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong data-centric background
• Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and LLM-based systems
• Hands-on experience with code generation, test automation, or developer productivity tools
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI concepts, multi-agent systems, and AI orchestration
• Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Experience working with large datasets, data pipelines, and feature engineering
• Solid knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring in production environments
• Ability to work cross-functionally with senior engineering stakeholders
• Background in software engineering, DevOps, or CI/CD automation
• Experience implementing AI governance, security, and compliance best practices
