Business Analyst

Hyra is working on behalf of City National Bank to hire for the position of Business Controls Analyst Senior. This role partners with the Business Control Officer and Risk Framework leadership to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and risk management requirements, focusing on the design, implementation, and monitoring of controls to align business objectives with the established risk appetite.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement control-related assessments and risk management programs
• Analyze and review risk management practices across the organization and network affiliates
• Provide technical guidance on control standards to ensure all documentation meets compliance requirements
• Execute essential risk functions including risk assessments, KRI reviews, and issue management
• Coordinate with second-line-of-defense teams during compliance testing and remediation activities

Requirements:

• Experience in risk management, internal audit, or regulatory compliance within financial services
• Strong understanding of control design and implementation for preventive and detective measures
• Ability to analyze complex data sets to provide insights on operational and business impacts
• Proven track record of managing internal and external audits and regulatory engagements
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to act as a liaison across multiple lines of business
