They are seeking a Healthcare Business Application Analyst to join Prestige Hospital System, where the role involves designing, implementing, and managing healthcare information systems that support various functions. The ideal candidate will optimize workflows and ensure system security across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate existing and proposed healthcare systems, developing or modifying procedures to resolve operational issues through data processing solutions
- Act as an application administrator by ensuring data integrity, maintaining system security, and managing data extraction, analysis, and transformation processes
- Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to understand functional workflows and processes, ensuring system configurations support operational efficiency and user productivity
- Design, create, and maintain advanced reports utilizing SQL, QlikView, Infor Business Intelligence, Kronos Genies, and other relevant technologies
- Manage software upgrades, system implementations, and data conversions, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum system performance
- Lead small to medium-sized projects, facilitating cross-functional team meetings, and coordinating activities to meet project objectives
- Provide operational support and participate in system build, design, and technical infrastructure activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Develop standard and ad hoc reports, assisting in the creation of custom reports to meet specific user requirements
- Train staff members on new and existing systems, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance
- Engage with vendors and external partners to facilitate system rollouts, updates, and integrations, ensuring seamless communication and project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Equivalent work experience totaling at least nine years will be considered
- Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience
- At least three years specifically within a healthcare information systems environment
- Proven experience with full lifecycle implementations—spanning analysis, design, deployment, and support
- Strong analytical skills
- Project management capabilities
- Ability to work independently on complex initiatives
- Ability to fulfill on-call responsibilities
- Familiarity with healthcare systems such as Kronos (preferably the latest UKG Workforce Management version), Oracle, PeopleSoft, and other HCM or financial applications
- Additional experience with system integrations, particularly using platforms like Boomi
- Prior consulting experience
