ProperExpression is a fully-remote boutique growth marketing agency focused on the B2B SaaS and Financial Services industries. They are seeking a Performance Marketing Strategist to lead account teams, manage client relationships, and ensure high-quality execution of marketing campaigns across various channels.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on strategy with the Account Director and own campaign execution
- Translate strategy into action, leading an execution team comprised of channel specialists (PPC, SEO, Email, RevOps, Content Writers, etc.) and a project manager
- Lead day-to-day client delivery and communication
- Ensure work is executed at a high standard across channels
- Monitor performance and proactively surface insights, risks, and opportunities
- Be accountable for client results, retention, and delivery quality
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional marketing experience
- Proven experience managing ongoing client relationships at a marketing agency
- Experience overseeing multi-channel marketing programs
- Project management experience (formal or informal)
- Expert-level experience in at least one of the following: Email & Marketing Automation, Content Marketing, SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social (LinkedIn and/or Meta), HubSpot and/or RevOps
- Hands-on intermediate or higher experience in at least three of the marketing areas listed
- Familiarity with all marketing areas, with no more than 1–2, with zero experience
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive and responsive
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Problem-solver with a 'figure it out' mentality
- Comfortable managing ambiguity
- Resilient and determined
- Motivated to challenge themselves and continuously learn
- Must be located in the US or Canada
- Must be willing to work EST hours full-time
- Enjoys managing ongoing client relationships
- Is highly organized and delivery-oriented
- Is comfortable leading client meetings and explaining results
- Can coordinate complex workstreams without micromanagement
- Wants to grow into an Account Director or VP-level role over time
