Samsara is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, enabling organizations to harness IoT data for improved operations. The GTM Business Operations team seeks a motivated analyst to drive revenue growth through sales performance and efficiency, collaborating with sales leaders to address challenges and scale the organization sustainably.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose sales team performance and owning analytical models and sources of insights (performance forecasting, productivity models, etc)
- Act as thought partners to sales leadership, sharing perspectives and recommendations based on data analysis of business opportunities and challenges
- Identify and drive initiatives to help scale business segments to achieve sales growth targets
- Identify risks to growth goals and develop action plans to mitigate those risks
- Support quarterly business activities and development of executive materials (executive briefing memos, sales kickoff slides, business reviews, and executive presentations)
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in analytical roles (e.g., Consulting, Business Operations, Sales Operations, etc.)
- Kind and collaborative orientation who is energized by working with a lot of different types of people from many teams (sense of humor is a big plus)
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and sense of ownership
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills and ability to lead discussions
- Ability to effectively prioritize and single-handedly manage multiple projects while staying focused on what matters most
- Highly communicative and able to move fast in a remote working environment
- Comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about improving sales performance
- Deep comfort with data tools (e.g., Excel & Google Sheets, SQL, Tableau) and/or willingness to expand skill set to tackle new problems
- Fully fluent in English
- Insatiable drive and commitment to personal growth
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior executives (CRO, COO, Sales VPs, Directors) and cross-functional partners
