SambaNova is at the forefront of the generative AI revolution, providing a full-stack AI platform optimized for enterprises and government organizations. They are looking for a Senior Product Manager to define the roadmap for their Managed AI Cloud platform, focusing on product strategy and economic architecture to support their partners' success.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Managed Cloud Roadmap: Define the feature set and release schedule for the white-label platform used by our partners. Prioritize capabilities that enable them to deploy, manage, and bill for inference at scale
- Act as the strategic product partner for our Managed Service customers. Help them define their model strategy (which models to serve) and deployment architecture to maximize their rack utilization
- Author rigorous Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that translate partner business needs into engineering specifications for our cloud software team
- Build and maintain the models for cost-per-token, revenue-per-rack, and margin analysis for both our internal cloud and partner deployments
- Develop pricing frameworks and roofline revenue estimates that Sales can use to prove the business case to prospective partners
- Track the model optimization roadmap. When Engineering improves model performance, you quantify exactly how that changes the unit economics for us and our partners
- Own the data on how our inference platform compares to NVIDIA and other accelerators
- Monitor the industry for emerging models and traffic patterns. Evaluate which new models should be added to our supported portfolio based on partner demand and revenue potential
Requirements:
- 5+ Years of Product Management: Experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Managed Services, HPC, or B2B AI platforms. You have shipped complex infrastructure products
- First-Principles Thinking: You understand the raw inputs of compute—hardware cost, power, utilization—and can build a business model from the ground up
- Analytical Rigor: You are comfortable with complex 'compute math.' You can model sensitivity analysis for pricing and explain the P&L impact of technical decisions
- High-Bandwidth Communication: You can simplify the complex. You can explain token economics to Sales and business constraints to Engineering without losing fidelity
- Bias for Action: You thrive in ambiguity. You don't wait for a ticket; you see a gap in the partner experience or an inefficiency in our pricing, and you fix it
