Business Analyst

Jobot is a leading professional services firm dedicated to providing comprehensive tax, accounting, and advisory solutions. They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead for Complex Client Engagements to manage intricate tax projects, provide strategic guidance, and develop strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing high-level tax compliance and planning for complex clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of filings
• Serving as a primary point of contact for clients, offering strategic advice tailored to their specific industries and circumstances
• Supervising and developing junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
• Identifying opportunities for additional services, supporting the firm’s business development efforts, and contributing to process improvements within the tax practice
• Staying current with evolving tax laws and regulations, and ensuring all engagements adhere to professional standards and regulatory requirements
• Working closely with leadership to shape service offerings and enhance client satisfaction

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• CPA certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive public accounting experience specializing in tax
• Strong knowledge of S&C corporate tax filings, especially in the oil & gas and non-profit industries
• Proven leadership abilities, including supervising and mentoring team members
• Managing multiple client engagements
• Fostering lasting client relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Comfort with identifying opportunities for additional services
• Supporting business development initiatives
• Master's degree
