Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. The Product Marketing Specialist for HPC Software and Servers will drive go-to-market strategies, craft messaging, and enable sales teams to effectively position solutions for IT teams globally.
Responsibilities:
- Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop clear and compelling product positioning that highlights the value of HPE Cray software, High Performance Cluster Manager software and XD servers. Create and maintain messaging frameworks tailored to target personas, industries, and use cases
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Contribute to and execute go-to-market strategies for existing and new product offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and sales, to align marketing plans with product roadmaps and business objectives
- Content Creation: Produce high-impact marketing collateral, including value propositions, presentations, solution briefs, whitepapers, case studies, and blogs. Partner with demand generation teams to create campaign assets such as landing pages, reports, and webinars
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer pain points, and competitive insights. Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for product positioning and differentiation
- Sales Enablement: Develop sales enablement tools, such as battlecards, product training materials, and objection-handling guides. Partner with sales teams to ensure they are equipped to effectively communicate product value to customers
- Customer Advocacy: Work closely with customer reference teams to identify and showcase customer success stories. Leverage customer feedback to refine product and solution messaging
Requirements:
- BA or BS in Communication, Marketing or related field
- 5+ years communication and/or marketing experience in data center software, hardware and/or integrated systems. Experience working in social media preferred
- Strong understanding of data center and IT hardware, software, solutions, environments, and/or with a willingness to continually learn
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with product, sales, and marketing teams
- Understanding of marketing communication principles, practices, tactics and tools with a willingness to continually learn
- Understanding of the IT industry and company offerings with a willingness to continually learn
