Dotsure is building a category-defining pet insurance ecosystem, and they’re looking for a senior commercial leader to own, govern and scale their most critical partnerships. The Business Development Lead – Strategic Pet Partnerships will be responsible for originating and structuring complex partnerships, launching them, and governing their performance.
Responsibilities:
- Origination and structuring of high-value strategic pet and adjacent ecosystem partnerships
- Senior-level commercial negotiations (pricing, revenue share, service models)
- ExCo- and Board-ready business cases with full financial, operational and risk assessment
- Commercial performance across the partnership portfolio (revenue, margin, contribution)
- Partner KPIs, SLAs, forecasting accuracy and continuation decisions
- End-to-end partnership lifecycle governance — from qualification to scale or exit
- Cross-functional orchestration across Operations, Sales, Pricing, Marketing, Compliance, Finance and Projects
- Design and ownership of scalable partner governance frameworks and operating models
- Senior stakeholder and partner relationship leadership
- Selective strategic engagement with dealer groups, OEMs and outsourced portfolios
Requirements:
- 7–10 years' experience in strategic partnerships, commercial or business development within insurance, financial services or regulated environments
- Proven experience structuring, launching and governing complex partnerships
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, forecasting, margin analysis, risk trade-offs
- Confident influencing senior internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable making continuation, remediation or exit recommendations
- Clear, structured thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel nationally
- Degree in Business, Finance, Law or similar
