Chasepro Talent is seeking a Senior Professional Business Analyst who will act as a liaison between business users and technology staff to identify, prioritize, and complete systems projects. The role involves utilizing standard system development life cycle methodologies and Agile techniques to manage projects of medium to high complexity, while also maintaining a detailed knowledge of business functions and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an understanding of current healthcare and Ohio Department of Medicaid business issues, objectives, and strategies
- Develop a solid understanding of the Ohio Department of Medicaid Alternative Payment Model business strategies and identify issues and opportunities to apply technology to enhance or build business capabilities
- Work directly with Ohio Department of Medicaid business users and Gainwell Technologies Alternative Payment Model data scientists to define project scope and objectives that reflect end‐user business needs
- Participate in the elicitation, documentation, analysis, and validation of business processes, systems, and requirements
- Support the continued buildout of data science evaluations and the expansion of the Databricks Artificial Intelligence Assistant Service
- Support the development of efficient Alternative Payment Model Tableau and Power BI dashboards
- Ensure all relevant business documentation is updated in a timely and accurate manner
- Support the Alternative Payment Model application development team to ensure business requirements are clearly documented and translated into effective technical designs
- Support the Alternative Payment Model testing team to ensure test plans and test cases comprehensively address business requirements and support testing efforts
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and constraints effectively to Alternative Payment Model team leadership
Requirements:
- 5+ more years of experience as a business analyst within the Medicaid, pharmacy, or healthcare industry
- Excellent presentation, note‐taking, and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the Ohio Department of Medicaid
- Ability to analyze data science requirements, healthcare data, demographics, solution designs, configurations, and trends to support complex analysis and documentation efforts
- Experience supporting test planning, testing activities, defect assessment, remediation, and tracking
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Basic SQL knowledge is preferred
- Basic Tableau and or Power BI dashboard knowledge is preferred
- Basic Databricks database understanding is preferred
- Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts is preferred
